Alex M. Hochberger - President and Founder
As the President and CEO of Feratech, Inc., Alex specializes in database and system design and possesses over five years of managerial experience in Internet and Networking fields. He founded Feratech, Inc. in January, 2001, along with Matt Feinberg. Alex’s wealth of system design and implementation experience has been vital in developing projects for mission critical systems and helpful in acquiring other design engineering qualifications. Alex has worked with several professional organizations, such as Netsuite Development, Citrix Systems, and Netspeak, while holding such positions as the Director of Technology for MKTV.com, Inc., Senior Network Engineer at ComponentSoft and Network Engineer at Greenwich Technologies Partners. Moreover, Alex is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a Citrix Certified Administrator. Alex holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics, from MIT. He hopes to see the Miami Dolphins achieve post-season success in his lifetime.
Peter Hubshman - Director
Peter currently serves as Director of Feratech, Inc. He is the CEO of Deal Jam, LLC (www.dealjam.com), a management group based in Boston, MA which operates www.creditcards.com; www.shop.com; and www.lovetactics.com. Peter began his career in 1981 as an Assistant Vice President for Diversified Media, Inc., where he was largely responsible for the successful turn-around of the company’s New York-based, Spanish language daily newspaper, El Diario La Prensa. Later he worked in the real estate and aerospace manufacturing divisions of DC Trading and Development (NASDAQ), where he was elected to the Board of Directors. In 1990, he was one of 3 founders of First Atlantic Capital, Ltd., a successful New York-based leveraged buyout fund. Peter has also been a partner in an energy and transportation sector consulting group, and has worked as a consultant in finance, management and operations in a variety of sectors including market research, transportation planning, food processing, and securities trading. Peter holds a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University and a Master’s Degree in Public and Private Management from Yale University’s School of Management.
Eric Hochberger - Vice President
As an intern, Eric joined Feratech in the summer of 2001 and is now Vice President. Prior to joining the company, Eric worked at OnLoan.com, specializing in search engine research and IT strategy. His responsibilities included working side-by-side with loan specialists, assisting the network administrator, maintaining and running wires across the three-floor building, keeping over 40 computers alive and assuring the wireless Internet functioning of the mobile OnLoan armored truck's computers. Eric currently holds a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. Eric has conquered all levels of every Zelda game ever made.
Matthew Levi Richenthal - Content Manager
As content manager, Matt produces content almost as quickly as he talks, while keeping a watchful eye over the eccentric writing team. He has interned at New York-based newspapers, such as The Patent Trader and The Journal-News, along with a recent stint as the head editorial intern for a pair of The Boston Phoenix websites. A former Senior Editor for The Colgate Maroon-News, Matt won the newspaper’s Beat The Experts NFL contest in 2001. Most recently, he helped cover the police beat for The Daily Item in Lynn, MA and high school sports for The Metro West Daily News. Matt holds a B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy, from Colgate University and received his Masters Degree in Print Journalism from Boston University. He is an unabashed professional wrestling fan.
Andrew Perry - Creative Marketing Advisor
Andrew is currently a Creative Marketing Advisor of Feratech, Inc. and a partner and Executive Vice President of Deal Jam, LLC. Previously, he was a partner in Gold Bond Pharmaceutical Corporation and has over 20 years of extensive brand management and key account sales experience. Andrew is also part owner and former President of The Round Towel Company, a trademarked, proprietary shape of towel made famous by Woody Harrelson. Other notable partners are: Bobby Farelley, one half of the movie producing brothers comedy team, and Glen Grunwald, GM of the Toronto Raptors. Hilasal, a leader in Premium Towel manufacturing located in Miami, Fl, is currently launching the product nationally. He is the father of two sons, Tyler & Willie, and loves playing “Steady Quarterback” in their pickup Football games.
